La traite négrière reconnue comme un crime contre l’humanité par l’ONU.

The slave trade recognized as a crime against humanity by the UN.
The United Nations General Assembly voted in favor of recognizing the slave trade as “the most serious crime against humanity,” an initiative intended to pave the way for reconciliation and justice. The resolution, proposed by Ghana, urges UN member states to consider apologizing for the slave trade and contributing to a reparations fund, without specifying a particular amount. The resolution passed with 123 votes in favor and three against, cast by the United States, Israel, and Argentina, while 52 countries abstained, including the United Kingdom and the member states of the European Union. Some countries, such as the United Kingdom, have long refused to pay reparations, arguing that current institutions cannot be held accountable for past wrongs. AlloAfricaNews
